The second task is for you to analyze the gathered materials. This is where the key goal of writing will be obvious. You have to use your analytical skills in order to acquire solutions or proofs for your thesis statement.
How do we analyze a material?
The first thing that you need to do is to read the entire document. Make sure that you jot down notes of the important parts of the article. Then, you can summarize the contents of the article in to your own words. Next, you need to pinpoint what the article is all about. You should be able to convey the true meaning of the article and what it intends to present. Lastly, make sure to expose any info beneath the general idea of the article. This is where true analysis comes. You should be able to find not so obvious facts within the contents of the reference paper.
