In the thesis sample, we can see the opinion part in the phrase “significantly reduces”. This part of the statement will be the sole basis on how the discussion will flow. Therefore, the readers will have an idea what the goal of the research is.

The last part of the thesis statement is the Outline of Reasons. It provides the readers the plan of the researcher on how to answer the main dilemma of the thesis statement. In the example statement, the outline of reasons is in the last part “providing health care plan for the people and sustainable bailout programs for bankrupt companies”. The readers will know that the research paper will tackle two conditions to support the thesis statement; health care plan for people and bailout program for companies.
